I've added a few new gadgets to the web site: a counter and a map of the cruise (not a very good one I'm afraid). Be careful to only follow the blue line as that's the Pacific Princess; we get off at Rome.
Photos I post to my picasa site will automatically show at the top; you can click there and see the rest.
The web cam for the ship is right up top. Right now it is in dry dock in the Bahamas. Take a look.

Probably you were in transit and before that packing so missed some of the coverage of the Haitian earthquake. Today, AC 360 covered the whole thing about the mass graves, complete w video of the bodies being dumped by earth moving equipment into mounds. Yesterday, I said its too soon for nurses of any huge numbers to be mobilizing and guess what!? The MDs and RNs had to bug out given security concerns. The ex military guy who ran Katrina logistics said that's a crock and they should have stayed put. I am considering what I might do as second responders come into play months from now.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for your trip to start in earnesst and guess what!? Sandy is looking into a 10-12 day cruise/trip downt the Nile that is a possiblitity for me.......you knew you would convert me?
ReplyDeleteA boat trip down the Nile would be great fun. Try out the Agatha Christi boat (honest)
